She twinkled amongst many.
There were others bigger than her.
Brighter than her.
Exploding with colors more splendid than hers.
She drifted amongst a society of constellations.
Nothing more than part a bigger picture,
that no one could single out in the infinite expanse of beauty.
But to him, she was the sun.
She was the one that dimmed all of the other stars so immensely
that she was the only one he saw in the day,
and the one he looked forward to seeing again when the night came.
She was the warmth he cherished
as her smile thawed his icy exterior.
The light he would look for as the storms thundered in.
She was the force of nature that could bring him to his knees,
Or compel him to wake and rise to his feet.
Everything he knew revolved around her,
as it should, for she was charmingly magnetic.
But she would never know,
for he revolved around someone else.
She cried, because she is a sun.
She blinded those who saw her for what she was.
Burnt those who came too close.
Poisoned those who were exposed to her for too long.
Everything was a world away, out of reach.
Distance was the price to pay.
But she could smile for him,
for he was the moon.
The small pearl in the ocean of stars.
He reflected her, showing her a different kind of light.
Soothing, soft, and subtle.
He let her know she wasn't the harmful inferno
she made herself out to be.
For together...they lit up a world of their own.

Musing on the muse
It has been too long. I have staved off doing anything creative for too long. How I know? Well, let me tell you.. My Muse has returned. My muse isn’t the classical Greek muse, and neither is it a she. Quite the opposite is true actually. My Muse is not the most sensible type of person, and His Personality really requires the capital P.
He has been driving me crazy these past few days. Why I haven’t done anything he asks, why haven’t I touched my paints? How can it be that despite his generous gifts of truly fantastical idea’s, I have not produced a satisfactory work of art?
Well, I shall tell you why! It is because I

In the Eyes
if you ever look,
into the eyes of an artist,
I promise you, my dear,
you will lose
who you think you are,
and find,
who you are.

Feeling The Light
I'm falling apart without you
Deep inside i'm crying
stuck on repeat in my head
Having no way out
Damning my self for eternity
Hearing your voice for the last time
Lost in my cold existance
Lost in your presence
Feeling your shadow
My soul feels tormented
My soul feels ignited
Feeling my skin burn with fury
Feeling my insides being torn
Wishing I were never born
Wishing I for a second chance
But all i get broken glance
But all i get is nothing at all
Nothing for breaking my fall
Laying on the ground injured in pain
Feeling the sadness feeling the rain
No one will help as they walk by
Even if they hear a moan or cry
A child of god just like y

I will admit to this...I kinda got lost writing this.
No, not 'I lost myself in the spirit of writing' lost, 'okay, I totally forgot where I was going' lost. Halfway through I literally stopped and asked myself, "I'm writing about people...right?"
The power of intense metaphors, my fellow writers.
I'd tell you this is about a girl who thought she was insignificant and a boy who thought he was invisible...but is it really?
YOU DECIDE. (Comment/ and feedback, is appreciated and welcomed)
